The Backstory?
Okay, if you insist.
According to reliable witnesses (Mom and Dad), I was verbal from the moment I was born. Since then, my vocabulary has somewhat improved.
For twenty years I was a writer and director of corporate documentaries, copywriter for advertising and project proposals, and a speechwriter for senior executives in technology, communications, and consumer products. That expanded into work as a scriptwriter and software developer for multimedia events and computer games.
Most recently I was a tenured Professor in the Department of Digital Arts at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, teaching interactive design and programming. Today I am swimming full-time in the world of fiction.
I attended Syracuse University (B.A., Magna Cum Laude, International Relations, with unofficial minors in broadcasting and physics) and the University of Southern California (M.F.A., Cinema, with an emphasis in experimental animation).
